Hi, I'm going to be a junior in high school this year, and I was just wondering when I should start visiting colleges. Everyone tells me something different, and I was just wondering what other people thought. Let me know!!!

start over spring break of this year. You can evern begin this summer.

Depending on the number of colleges you are planning on visiting, I would say start during your spring break. You can also visit college fairs or attend college preview days during your school year.

Many schools have a promotional type visit, i.e. "April Visit Days", where you can either stay with some of the current students or with your parents. There are usually some great deals on hotel stays and if you stay with a student (which you should) then you not only get to hang out and meet people, but you also get free food and you get to party. So you should look for the prospective student visits on any college website

Yeah, like they said. spring break and summer. My school actually paid for me to visit them.
